Bentley Coche is an automobile produced by the British luxury car manufacturer Bentley Motors Limited from 2002 until 2010. It was designed by Wolfgang Dürheimer and based on the Mulsanne concept.

Bentley Coche is a four door sedan that seats five people. It has a V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 516 lb ft (700 Nm) of torque. It also features a retractable hardtop roof.

The first prototype was unveiled at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show. The production version debuted at the 2003 Geneva International Motor Show.

The Bentley Coche cost $2 million per unit when it was introduced. This price tag made it the world’s most expensive car ever made.

It has been described as "the most expensive car ever made" with a price tag of $2 million (GBP 1.3 million).

The Bentley Coche was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2002. It was named after the French town of Cocherel where the company’s headquarters were located. The name Coche comes from the French word choc meaning shock.

The Bentley Coche was originally intended as a one-off prototype vehicle, with only two examples being made. However, the design proved so popular that production began in 2003. The first series of cars were sold through the Bentley dealership network in Europe. In 2004, the first series of cars were exported to North America.

The first prototype was completed in 1999 and it took three years to develop the final version. The Coche has a top speed of and accelerates from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 4.8 seconds.

The Bentley Coche is powered by a 6.75 litre V12 engine producing. This power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The engine produces  at 7,000 rpm and  of torque at 5,500 rpm.

It features a carbon fibre monocoque chassis with aluminium doors and bonnet. The engine is a 6.75 litre V12 petrol engine producing.

The Coche has been described as “the world’s most expensive car ever made”. It cost £2.5 million ($3.6 million) when new. In 2004, the price had risen to $4.8 million. In 2005, the price rose again to $7.1 million. In 2006, the price rose to $9.5 million. In 2007, the price rose to £2.5 million. In 2008, the price rose to €4.5 million. In 2009, the price rose to US$10.5 million. In 2010, the price rose to GB£11.5 million.
