Why did Mazda design its own car?

What makes the interior so unique?
The interior of the Interior Mazdas Cx5 is very different than any other Mazda model. Instead of using traditional materials like leather and wood, the CX-5 uses a new material called “Mazda Plastic.” It’s a composite plastic that looks like wood and feels like leather.
What are some of the features of the new CX-5?
The CX-7 will be available with two engines: a 2.0L four cylinder engine and a 1.8L turbocharged four cylinder engine. Both engines produce 170 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. The CX-5 will come standard with a six speed automatic transmission.
What are some of its shortcomings?
The interior design of the Interior Mazdas Cx5 is very similar to the Mazda3. There are no major differences between the two vehicles aside from the exterior styling. The CX-7 is expected to be more luxurious than the Interior mazda cx5
